Sun exposure, hormonal changes and aging can all have an impact on your skin’s appearance. Over time, your skin begins to lose hyaluronic acid and collagen, resulting in fine lines, wrinkles, and a loss of fullness and elasticity. Health care professionals can now reverse these signs of aging by correcting the wrinkles and folds and adding volume to sunken skin with dermal fillers.

Most dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid-based, soft injectable gels that are used to replenish and refresh your appearance. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in your body, which combines with the water in your skin to instantly restore lost volume and reduce lines and wrinkles. It is non-animal based, highly biocompatible, is absorbed slowly by the body and has been shown to stimulate natural collagen production. Best of all, the results are instant and natural-looking.

Dermal fillers are injected directly into the wrinkle; it lifts and instantly fills the line by virtue of the volume it creates. Right from the first injection, the wrinkle is markedly and visibly reduced.

Dermal fillers are injected directly into the zones where the tissue has relaxed, thus creating an immediate tightening and volume-enhancing effect. It is often used for cheek and brow lifts.

As a result of their lifting effects, filler gels offer a realistic, non-surgical alternative to plastic surgery by redefining the facial contours.

Naturally present in the skin, hyaluronic acid preserves the moisture levels in the skin and boosts tone. As we age the quantity of hyaluronic acid in the dermis decreases and as a result, skin dries out and becomes fragile, and wrinkles begin to appear. The tissues progressively sag and the face begins to appear hollow. Injected into the dermis, dermal fillers, with their high concentration of hyaluronic acid, effectively alleviate this hyaluronic acid deficiency.

The signs of aging aren’t limited to wrinkles. In fact, a key (yet less frequently discussed) sign of aging is loss of fullness in the cheeks. This can be a challenge to correct, with limited surgical and non-surgical solutions available. Fortunately, there are dermal filler products specially formulated to restore facial volume lost over time.

People age differently: some may lose fullness or volume in their face, or their skin may start to droop or sag or they may experience both. However, few people realize the mid-face is one of the first areas to show the signs of aging – as we lose facial volume, cheeks deflate and descend.

We offer thicker hyaluronic acid dermal fillers that are specifically made to restore age-related volume loss in the mid-face (the cheeks, cheekbones and around the chin). They instantly restore lost facial volume in the cheeks and contour the chin. They also combine with collagen and elastin to improve skin structure and elasticity, and create a smooth natural look. The results are instant and natural looking with no downtime – most people resume normal activities immediately.

These injectable hyaluronic acid dermal fillers deliver smooth, natural-looking fullness to sunken cheeks and firmness to a softening jaw line. Some of the products we offer have been reported to last up to 18 months, longer than many other dermal fillers.
