Botox, a popular aesthetic treatment, is widely used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, particularly on the forehead, around the eyes, and between the eyebrows. It works by temporarily blocking nerve signals to the muscles, causing them to relax and preventing further wrinkle formation. The effects of Botox typically last three to four months after which the treatment can be repeated.
