WHAT DOES LASER GENESIS DO?

Laser Genesis uses a near infra-red laser to heat the dermis directly under the skin, which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. As we age, our bodies produce much less collagen, which greatly contributes to the look of aging skin. Collagen production will plump the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Additionally, the thermal energy in the laser will target the vessels and capillaries that cause redness and rosacea. Breaking down these vessels breaks up the blood trapped under the skin’s surface, which causes redness.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU GET LASER GENESIS DONE?

It is recommended that patients have about 3-10 treatments done to see maximum results. Treatments should be done about 4 weeks apart. Your technician will let discuss how many treatments are needed for your skin, as this can vary from patient to patient.

HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS FROM LASER GENESIS LAST?

After the series of treatments, results should last for about a year. It is recommended that patients get a treatment done once a year to maintain the results. Results can vary from patient to patient, so additional treatments may be needed depending on skin conditions.

HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR MY LASER GENESIS TREATMENT?

There is no real preparation needed before your Laser Genesis treatment – just be sure to come to your appointment with clean, dry skin, and avoid any type of tanning on your face for the two weeks prior.
