So, you’re curious about getting a facelift but are looking for a less invasive option? Say hello to your new best friend, Silhouette InstaLift. This rejuvenating thread lift is a remarkable treatment with instant benefits. In less than an hour, you can get a noticeable lift without having to go through surgery. Dissolvable sutures are expertly inserted to slightly pull back and tighten your skin, giving you a gorgeous lift. Continue reading to learn how it works, why people love the treatment, and what kind of results you can expect.

Why Do People Love Silhouette InstaLift?

Why do people prefer a string facelift rather than a traditional surgical facelift? Good question! For one thing, a thread lift is way less invasive than having to go under general anesthesia for an intensive surgery with downtime afterwards. Your wallet and your body will thank you for it later. People also tend to love the more obvious benefits, which include a more defined jawline, lifting of the jowls and a youthful overall appearance. The treatment is also effective in addressing sagging cheeks and deeper nasolabial folds extending from the side of your nose to the corner of your mouth.

Probably one of the coolest things about getting thread lift is how the treatment prompts your natural healing response to stimulate and renew collagen. And we all know how important collagen is for improving elasticity and reducing wrinkles or fine lines, right?

Is Silhouette InstaLift More Sustainable Than Other Treatments?

We spoke with one of our expert nurse injectors, Frances Chen, and here is what she had to say about the treatment:

“Anti-aging is a very long-term goal and it’s an ongoing process,” says Frances Chen. “After ten years, you still want to look good and the treatments should be sustainable. Silhouette InstaLift is more than a facelift. It’s a rejuvenating treatment, an instant lift with long-term benefits. The lift gives you a slimmer look, but not only does it give you an instant lift, it improves your skin quality because of the biostimulator.”

How Does Silhouette InstaLift Work?

Using Advanced Micro-Suspension Technology™, a medical aesthetics professional will place micro-cones in the deepest layer of your skin for an immediate, lasting lift. In time, your body naturally absorbs the threads, which activates your natural healing response and stimulates collagen. The process takes time and you will continue to see benefits over the course of up to two years. The treatment usually takes around 45 minutes with minimal downtime afterwards. Some people experience minimal bruising, swelling, or tenderness but these effects usually dissipate within one or two days.

Wait, what kind of thread are we talking about here? Thread lifts can be done with different materials depending on your cosmetic goals. You’ve got PLA or polylactic acid sutures which are made from a biocompatible polymer. These threads dissolve gradually over the course of two years and are brilliant for regenerating collagen. We use PLA sutures for face and neck treatments. You’ve also got PDO or polydioxanone threads. The functionality is somewhat different and these threads typically last for around 6 months before your body naturally absorbs them. PDO threads are commonly used for a nose thread lift or an eyebrow thread lift.

Health Canada and the FDA have approved both kinds of threads, but for different purposes and cosmetic needs. And don’t worry, you will not have to decide which threads to choose. Our team of expert medical aesthetic professionals can walk you through your options and find the ideal cosmetic solution for your individual needs.

Are People Happy with the Results?

Based on a clinical study with over 100 participants, people are loving the results of their Silhouette InstaLift treatments. The company reports that just one week after getting a thread lift, 79% of people were happy with the results and 82% would recommend the treatment to their friends or family. Even more impressive, 83% of people reported that the treatment was still effective at reducing common signs of aging after three months. But how about years into the future, does the treatment really have a lasting effect? Through clinical research, Silhouette InstaLift found that an impressive 71% of people still considered the treatment to be effective at improving volume loss caused by aging even two years after their treatment. Talk about sustainable results.
